The college offers AA, AS, AAS, and RBA degrees and is a 2-year regional branch of WVU. It has four air-conditioned residence halls that house 60 to 100 students and are staffed by full-time resident directors. It offers intercollegiate varsity sports for both men and women. WVDHHR offers many programs and applications for all programs may be obtained at the office listed above. WV Works is a program to assist families. If you qualify there are many areas that the department may assist you in such as assessment testing, GED testing, school clothing allowance for children, transportation to work (Wheels to Work), and developing skills needed to obtain self-sufficiency. WVEP – the WV Education program is a state funded higher education program that allows participants to pursue a degree in higher education. (Individuals in this program do not receive WV Works).
